If there is anything out there that can damage your reputation more than anything before you meet a person, it is having an unprofessional profile on any social media account.

The first thing you should start doing is begin narrowing down what fields you are interested in. Perhaps you have an interest in healthcare and medicine.

Firstly, plan your type of professional account. Yes, that's right, there are different types of accounts that can be considered "professional".

Third- Rely on your social intelligence by being an amazing conversationalist. If you show confidence in the way that you address people and show that you care they will feel it and crave more.

Honestly, they are searching for things as well and if you are able to give them those things than they will stick with you. One of those things may be an outlet if they need to learn how to have fun or it could be social outlet if they need to just feel important.

Fourth-Use them as a resource. When we use the word "use" we don't mean exploit. Smart people want to feel like they are the authority on a certain area and will feel important if you see them in that light as well. Keep tabs on them and stimulate their intellect with thought provoking questions.

Be careful with all of the political statements you make, or the relationship statuses you make, or even the photos that you like. All of those things are able to be seen by companies and others. Less is more on facebook. This means that the less you have on there the less you have to worry about.

Administrative services managers are vital to the smooth workings of any company; they are essentially the backbone of the company that works behind the scenes for everyone's benefit. Something else administrative services managers are involved in is helping set goals and objectives for the department for which they work in.

Too many people get caught up in facebook and start getting involved to the point that they lose track of all that they have said and done.

Seventh-Be mysterious and be interesting. Play off your diversity and let people see just enough to peak their interest and then leave them wanting more.

If you find yourself constantly being ignored or forgotten, getting louder is not always the best option, sometimes giving a well-developed and thought out response to something can get more attention.

Eighth-Be a networking guru. If people know that you know people, you become much more important and they know that they can rely on you to get things done.

So in order to get yourself out there in a good light you need to figure out how you want people to see you. Do you want to be the political activist that people defriend, the trendy individual who posts all the latest and greatest, or someone who consistently posts comments that make people think. All of these things can help in your social media educational experience.
