It is important that you still offer quality content, but it is equally important to contribute frequently. Also, post about a single event several times but in different forms.

When using social media, make sure you look at all of the content posted about your company. Given that social media can be viral in nature, unfortunate information can travel fast. It will make for much publicity, but probably not the right kind.
