If one were to go to any coastal town you would see all the hotels and homes along the beachfront and further inland have aluminum windows double glazing. There are several reasons for this and the main one being that aluminum is rust resistant. Everything rusts close to the sea, window frames, fridges, stoves and other appliances.

Another advantage of having double glazed aluminum especially right on the sea front is the noise factor. There is nothing nicer than being able to listen to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach during the day. When it comes to bed time however that sound can be quite overpowering.

A double glazed window has two panels that are separated by a spacer and sealed to the edges. This would be done in factory controlled conditions to ensure it is done one hundred percent correctly. The spacer contains a drying agent and this eliminates the possibility of moisture vapor creeping in between the glass.

It is a good thing that these living areas have installed the double glazed windows. Keeping such vast open plan areas warm must be a challenge. Under floor heating would be an added bonus but once again an extra pricey item on the budget list. It is almost depressing to see one of these luxurious homes with one couch in the living area and one comfy lounger.

A wiser choice could be that economical kitchen, unless most of the day is spent cooking or baking. A smaller less fancy study could allow for more money to be spent on other areas. Making the sitting room a place where the family can gather around the fireplace and feel cozy and warm sounds more inviting than sitting in the study.

One instant, you will find that it is all finally done. The frame is in place and the enormous window arrives, with its aluminum windows double glazing. With the help of a crane and lots of hands the window finally reaches its resting place. It is securely fitted and the owner proudly and with ease slides opens his patio door to admire the view of the countryside.
