It is only normal for a classroom to be filled with students who come from different parts of the world. This is definitely true with those schools that are renowned worldwide. You can get different people from different parts of the world studying a single course in a single classroom when your school is open for enrollment to students around the world.

If you are the teacher in this kind of classroom setting, you are the one in charge of ensuring that no one is left behind. Everyone in your class should be able to get along well with each other. To make that possible, you have to let them communicate. You can do this, despite having people from all over, if you have bilingual strategic communications.

While that may sound amazing, the ones who are actually in the classroom might find it difficult to talk with each other. It would be good if there are two or three other students who are speaking the same language but it is a different matter if you are alone. You might feel left out that your other classmates are getting along well while you are yet to find your first friend.

If the language becomes the problem, this might then cause isolation. The lone student who is yet to understand the common language being spoken in the classroom will really be left behind. This might even trigger the feeling of not attending class or homesickness for the said lone student. That would pose a problem in and of itself.

It should not be difficult for you to conceptualize a strategy that is suitable for the problem posed before you. If it is just communication, then you should be able to take advantage of a few strategies that are commonly used in classrooms with diverse students. You can help out your students when you use the appropriate strategies.

Since you have various strategies you can use, it is better for you to pick the one that you are used to. For example, you can take advantage of the English language for this. You will certainly find this helpful for you since you can allow each of the students understand each other. Communication is made possible by speaking English.

There are surely no problems with speaking the said language. Most of the students, especially those in the higher levels, should be able to speak or understand the said language. To those who know the language but are not used to it, you can convince them to see this as an exposure and preparation for their future.

Pairing up or using a buddy system will help too. One foreigner can be paired up with a native speaker who is also good at speaking English. You can let them learn from each other. The foreigner can teach his or her language to the partner while the partner, on the other hand, can teach the foreigner the native language.

Of course, there are other strategies that you can use when it comes to allowing the class to communicate with each other. You just have to make sure that the strategies really work. It will be worth it for you if the strategies you use really work.
